MIG Welding Machine PATON™ StandardMIG–350 – Welding Kit #1
The digital inverter welder MIG Welding Machine PATON™ StandardMIG-350 is a versatile device for SMAW, MIG/MAG (GMAW), FCAW (gas-shielded or self-shielded), and TIG LIFT. Its 14–350 A current range and 4-roller wire feeder (accommodating spools up to 18 kg) ensure a smooth arc, minimal spatter, and precise penetration, leading to high efficiency and reduced risk of weld defects. Compatible with 1.6–6.0 mm stick electrodes, 0.6–1.4 mm wires, and 0.6–4.0 mm tungsten electrodes, it offers digital control for precise parameter adjustments. Generator-friendly and suitable for long extension leads, this welder provides full power from workshop to remote sites. Designed for continuous operation in production facilities and industrial workshops, it delivers top-quality welds and high productivity wherever needed.
The “Standard” series is dedicated to domestic and semi-industrial use. The PATON™ StandardMIG 350 provides a 55% duty cycle at full rated current of 350A without any loss of productivity or quality of work. It is also worth mentioning that the welder achieves 100% duty cycle for 260A current. The robust construction and simplicity of operation makes the machine effortless to work with – easy settings result in excellent weld quality. The use of the fully electronic control method in this series excludes the disadvantages that are characteristic of multifunctional systems. The welding source is set to optimum values, allowing even beginners to start working with it straight away. For more advanced work, the machine is equipped with additional functions. A characteristic feature of PATON™ semi-automatic welding machines of the Standard series is the high-quality wire feeder, which has been additionally sealed, as well as the existing KZ-2 “EURO” type integrated connector, which has become a standard worldwide, allowing the user to choose any MIG/MAG torch according to his/her preference.
GASLESS WELDING FUNCTION – WELDING WITH SELF-CONSUMING WIRE
All PATON MIG/MAG welding machines are adapted for welding with self-consuming wire. Such welding, unlike the traditional MIG/MAG welding process, takes place without shielding gas – however, this requires a special welding wire. Such wire produces its own shielding, which helps to protect the welding arc. Self-shielded wire suitable for PATON welders can be purchased here – spools of 5 kg wire will fit all wire feeders.
SOLDERING – INDUCTANCE ADJUSTMENT
PATON™ MIG/MAG welders of the Standard and PRO series have the possibility of brazing, thanks to the function of changing the inductance in three stages. The inductance control allows the arc characteristics to be optimised according to the thickness of the component to be welded. This function is necessary to change the speed of the current flow when changing the arc voltage. The thinner the workpiece to be welded using MIG/MAG, the greater the inductance should be (soft arc – less fusion), for thick workpieces the opposite (hard arc – more fusion).
PULSE FUNCTION IN ALL METHODS
– PULSE in TIG welding – full control of heat input into the material – a great feature for welding stainless steel and acid-resistant steel,
– PULSE in MMA – easier transfer of material from electrode to weld pool, better quality of welded joint,
NEW QUALITY OF THE STANDARD SERIES
Unlike the rest of the Standard Series, the PATON™ StandardMIG 350 400V welder has a 55% duty cycle at its rated current of 350A. In addition, the wire feeder built into the welder allows a large 15kg wire spool to be fitted and is a four-roller design – unlike the other STN series units that only handle a spool of up to 5kg and have 2 wire feed rollers.
MAIN ADVANTAGES OF PATON™ MACHINES:
- European manufacturing
- Electronic thermal protection system to protect all heat generating components from overheating
- Reliability thanks to IGBT technology
- Possibility to work with long extension cables as well as with a generator
- Pulsed current welding in any welding method
- Improved arc glow stability
- 2T, 4T mode change function, gas purge from feeder function
- The devices have voltage spike protection and an operation stabilisation system, enabling correct operation for the voltage range from 320V to 440V
- Two times less electricity consumption compared to traditional sources
- Optimum melting and correct stitch shape regardless of welding position
3-year manufacturer’s guarantee for consumers as well as businesses
Top quality workmanship confirmed by a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. The STANDARD series models feature a number of innovative design features that increase their reliability. These include a sealed and fail-safe wire feeder, a KZ-2 EURO type integrated connector and a built-in voltage stabilisation module.
