TIG AC/DC Welding Machine PATON™ ProTIG–315 – Welding Kit #1
The advanced TIG AC/DC Welding Machine PATON™ ProTIG 315 is a versatile tool for demanding welders, offering TIG AC/DC, MMA, and spot welding (SPOT). With a maximum current of 315 A and compatibility with tungsten electrodes from 1.0–4.0 mm, it accommodates a wide range of materials. Integrated features such as double pulse in TIG DC mode, single pulse in TIG AC mode, and non-contact HF arc ignition simplify achieving precise, repeatable, and aesthetically pleasing weld seams. Additionally, the ability to store up to 10 welding profiles and remotely adjust welding parameters from the TIG torch ensures comprehensive process control. Stable operation with long extension leads, an adaptive fan, and precise gas flow regulation enhance efficiency. This durable investment provides excellent value for money, suitable for the most demanding industrial applications. The “Professional” series device, has been designed for consumers requiring a compact design and an optimum ratio between the portability and functionality of a unit with its full rated current.
The best solution for direct and alternating current welding of a wide range of materials: aluminium, aluminium alloys (TIG AC mode), steel parts and materials, non-ferrous metals and copper alloys (TIG DC mode). The machine can also be used for welding with covered electrodes (MMA mode). In addition, the manufacturer has incorporated the SPOT (SPOT) function in this device. The PATON ProTIG 315 inverter welder provides excellent contactless ignition, a constant and stable electric arc, as well as high weld quality and ease of use. The unit has a protection module against under- and over-voltage supply. Due to the increased frequency of the input voltage that the transformer is supplied with, it is several times smaller, so the device is several times lighter in weight and dimensions with the same output characteristics compared to other devices with similar characteristics.
The Paton ProTIG-315 AC DC TIG welder inverter is designed for welding:
– TIG AC/DC (direct / alternating current)
– MMA (direct current)
– SPOT (SPOT welding mode)
MAIN ADVANTAGES OF PATON EQUIPMENT:
- European manufacture
- Electronic thermal protection system to protect all heat generating components from overheating
- Reliability thanks to IGBT technology
- Possibility to work with long extension cables as well as with a generator
- Pulsed welding (PULSE function)
- Improved arc glow stability
- 2T, 4T mode change function, gas purge from feeder function
- The devices have voltage spike protection and an operation stabilisation system, enabling correct operation for the voltage range from 340V to 420V
- Twice lower electricity consumption compared with conventional sources
- Optimum melting and correct stitch shape regardless of welding position
2-year manufacturer’s guarantee for consumers and companies
Top quality workmanship confirmed by a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty. The ProTIG series models feature a compact design with a number of innovative technological solutions to increase the reliability of the equipment. The inverter’s reliability in dusty and humid environments has been increased by relocating the electronics to a separate chamber, in addition to impregnating the electronics with a high-grade varnish.
